What can we do?

I know a lot of forums out there band together to help people in some way. What can we do to help someone out that needs it? I know it's too late for us to start planning to do something for Christmas, but as Christians it is our mandate to help those that are in need. Is there any ideas you guys have to help out in our area?

what about adopting a nursing home and throwing a christmas party?

I have several friends that work in Nursing Homes and they already have Christmas party's.

What about just going to give tem Christmas cards and traks or something?? Just spending some time with them...
