at the moment she's sleeping. her contractions have slown to every 5 minutes but they arent making any progress because shes on a shot that makes sure she doesnt dialate. i think its called prodestrone?

I'm glad she is getting some rest. She's going to need her energy when she gets to the hard labor.

That's great! (not the leaves part). I'm so glad she is feeling better.
Hang tough on being buried in the leaves. EWW makes me itch just thinking about it.

ashlee went to see her doctor in st louis today. I'll update you when she returns

she's giving birth today in st louis by C section. I don't have a ride there.. so pray plz

Joseph, I'm praying for Ashlee and the baby that everything goes smoothly. Also that you have a safe trip to St. Louis. Let us know as soon as you can. Course we'll be at Bible study tonight

the baby is scheduled to be born at 2:30 today.. i wont be there until 5.. it'll be the first birth i've missed

i just found out that im allowed to use this computer in the st louis room. i thought it was staff only but she told me that everything is locked except IE because patients like the internet.

Anyway

Elijah William was born at 2:23pm. he weighed 6lbs 4 ounces. He is 19 In long. he was on oxygen for a little while, but he pulled it out of his own nose and the doctor said to go ahead and keep it off. After ashlee gets some good sleep and gets some color in her skin we will be allowed to hold him. We werent allowed as long as he had the head gear for the o2.

The dr said that if she would have waited one more day, her uteris would have burst and neither would have survived since she has had 2 previous c sections. The contractions were too much stress. So God got him out just in time. Thank you all for your prayers. I may post a picture of him when we get home, which we are hoping is on Sunday afternoon
