John 1

What do you guys think of actually starting an online Bible study.. maybe studying a chapter a week?

We could start with John 1.. finish that book and then vote on which book to go to next?

If you are interested.. read John 1 and tell me what you got out of it.

I like the idea. But I am leaving Friday morning and won't be back til Monday night. Will be real busy tomorrow getting ready to go.So I won't be able to take part until Tuesday. But you can start without me. Going to take my almost 90 year old mother to Branson to see Noah's Ark, then to Eureka Springs, Ark.

I hope you enjoy yourself! I'll keep it open for a while to make sure you get a chance to say what's on your heart over this chapter!

to get this going a little bit, i'll mention something I found interesting.

Many people out there, even some Christians, that Jesus and God are two different people, but this chapter completely blows that out of the water.

In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.

For mormons who believe Jesus was a seperate God, this verse doesn't say the word was "a" God. It says it was God. Later down the chapter it says that the word became flesh.

This is indisputable. Jesus is God Himself in a fleshly form.

Are we doing John or John 1? You're last post was from John 1:1. Want to be on the same page with everybody else. I've been told before that I wasn't on the "same page", so have to be real clear with me LOL
